DIRECTIONS TO MILLAMOLONG POLO CLUB

Depending on which part of Sydney you are leaving from, please allow a minimum of 4 hours travelling time from Sydney (this does not account for traffic or stops enroute).

Depart Sydney either via Katoomba (Great Western Highway/National Route 32) or via Richmond (State Route 40).

From Sydney to Lithgow via Richmond (about 2 hours)
Head north via the Harbour Bridge/Tunnel to the Gore Hill Freeway. Continue onto the M2 towards Epping/Windsor (via Lane Cove Tunnel). After about 23kms this becomes the M7 heading northwest. After about 11kms take the Richmond Rd exit towards Windsor/Richmond. From Richmond follow the signs to State Route 40 towards Lithgow. State Route 40 will become the Bells Line of Road that takes you over the mountains to Lithgow. See below for direction from Lithgow.

From Sydney to Lithgow via Katoomba (about 2 hours)
Head west via Parramatta Rd to the Great Western Highway. If you are coming from the east or south this can be reached via the Anzac Bridge or if you are coming from the north take the M7 to the M4. Follow the signs to Penrith/Blue Mountains and then on to Lithgow. See below for direction from Lithgow.

From Lithgow/Bathurst to Mandurama (about 1.5 hours/50 minutes)
When you reach Lithgow turn right onto the Great Western Highway (National Route 32) and follow signs to Bathurst. When you reach Bathurst you are about an hour from Millamolong. As you go through Bathurst turn left onto Stewart St following the signs to Orange/Cowra (this is still the Great Western Hwy/National Route 32). After about 1.5kms go straight through the roundabout (do not turn right towards Orange) and follow the signs to Blayney. You are now on the Mid Western Highway/National Route 24. Travel about 58kms along this road passing through Blayney and the tiny historic village of Carcoar until you reach the village of Mandurama.

From Orange to Mandurama (about 1 hour)
If you are staying in Orange travel south out of the town centre (Summer St) following signs to Bathurst/Sydney – this is the Mitchell Highway (National Route 32). Travel along this road for about 13.5kms passing through the village of Lucknow (there is a great ugg boot store here!). Turn right into Millthorpe Rd towards Millthorpe (home of some great regional restaurants, cafes and guesthouses) and travel along this road for about 21kms passing by Millthorpe and on to Blayney. Follow the signs towards Cowra – at Blayney you will turn right onto the Mid Western Highway/National Route 24 and travel about 23kms along this road past the historic village of Carcoar to the village of Mandurama.

From Mandurama to Millamolong Polo Club (about 10 minutes)
Once you hit Mandurama take the second right into Silver St (which becomes Belubula Way) and follow the signs to Canowindra. After about 10kms you will see reach Millamolong Rd (do not turn here) but continue on for another 2.2kms until you reach the next righthand turn (Boonderoo Rd), which is marked by a black Millamolong Polo Club sign. Turn into Boonderoo Rd – the polo ground will be on your right a short way along.

From Canowindra to Millamolong Polo Club (about 25 minutes)
Leave Canowindra via Ferguson St – this becomes Belubula Way. After about 31kms turn left into Boonderoo Rd (marked by a black Millamolong Polo Club sign). The polo ground will be on your right a short way along.
