Millamolong’s Famous Polo Carnival is an international event featuring the best polo has to offer. 2015 is our 25th birthday, celebrating 25 years since the first chukkas. Whilst the club has a long heritage spanning almost 100 years, this is a very special milestone for us and for the community.
Whether you picture yourself frocked up in frills sipping on bubbly in the VIPS Very Important Pony Shed or stretched out on a picnic rug in the sun in jeans with dust on your boots and stomping divots, Millamolong puts on a Carnival that definitely has something for everyone in the true spirit of country Australia.
And, there’s nothing quite as exhilarating as the heart-racing excitement of polo – that’s why it’s one of the fastest growing spectator sports in the world today!
Polo combines the adrenaline of horse racing with the skill and agility of ball sports and the grunt and physical vigour of rugby.
Imagine the sound of clashing mallets and the pounding of hooves all set on a glorious wide green field that sits between gently rolling hills. Think hunky players with rippling muscles, tight white pants and long polished boots astride powerful mounts.
